Colorado lawyers are among those ready to lend a hand to the survivors of 2013 storms and flooding in Colorado. Through the Colorado Bar Association Disaster Relief program, the Colorado Joint Disaster Legal Services Task Force in a partnership with FEMA and the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, offers no-cost, disaster-related legal advice to those impacted in Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Clear Creek, El Paso, Fremont, Jefferson, Larimer, Logan, Morgan, and Weld counties. Impacted individuals in other counties may also request services via this site, and volunteers through the Colorado Joint Disaster Legal Services Task Force are available to provide assistance.
Through this program, Colorado attorneys volunteered their time and assistance to flood victims in need of free legal assistance. The program was designed to provide limited assistance to flood victims to help assess legal needs.
At this time the helpline is closed. If you are looking for a referral to an attorney, please go to the For the Public section of the Colorado Bar Association website or visit Find a Lawyer.
